# Lithorium

> A one-person rock shop in San Jose, California, United States, selling mineral specimens, curated
> specimen boxes and rough lots since 2025. Every piece on the site is the exact
> piece in its photograph. Alongside the shop it publishes a rockhounding map of
> the United States and a small set of browser tools about minerals.

## Inventory at a glance

- 56 catalog entries, each with its own page at /shop/<id>/.
- 11 are for sale right now. 11 carry a price.
- The rest are photographed and deliberately unpriced. An absent price means the
piece is not for sale, never that the price is unknown.
- Prices are US dollars. The shop ships within the United States.

## Files for agents

- [/llms-full.txt](https://lithorium.rocks/llms-full.txt): the whole inventory as text, every field, one entry per piece.

## Pages for readers

- [/](https://lithorium.rocks/): the front page.
- [/shop/](https://lithorium.rocks/shop/): every specimen and box, the pieces for sale first.
- [/about](https://lithorium.rocks/about): who runs the shop and how a listing is written.

## Buying

The shop takes payment directly through Stripe Checkout. A piece that is priced
and available shows a buy button on its own page. There is no cart API and no
agent-callable purchase: a person completes the payment. Nothing routes to a
marketplace; the etsy_url field is null on every row.

Postage is added at checkout and the buyer picks the service: USPS Ground Advantage $12.00, three to seven business days; USPS Priority Mail $18.00, two to three business days. Ground Advantage is free on an order over $150. United States only. Sales tax is calculated by Stripe at checkout.

## Accuracy

Mineral names on curated boxes and rough lots are read from the photograph, not
from laboratory testing, and the listings say so. Sizes and weights are absent
where they were not measured. Treat an absent field as unrecorded rather than
as zero.

## Policies

- [/shipping](https://lithorium.rocks/shipping): rates, handling time, damage in transit.
- [/returns](https://lithorium.rocks/returns): 14 days from delivery, item price refunded, original postage not.
- [/terms](https://lithorium.rocks/terms): who is selling, how an order is formed, what the listings claim.
- [/privacy](https://lithorium.rocks/privacy): what is collected and who else receives it.
- [/faq](https://lithorium.rocks/faq): the questions people actually ask.
